Great planning tool for your visit. www.catalinaconservancy.org This is the website of the Santa Catalina Island Conservancy, owner of 88% of Catalina Island and dedicated to preserving and restoring its natural ecosystems. Their website is a rich source of information about the natural side of Catalina. www.visitcatalinaisland.com is the official website of the Santa Catalina Island Company. Filled with colorful photos and information, this site features details about tours, activities, accommodation and more. www.silentfilm.org The Silent Film Festival is a nonprofit organization founded to educate the public about silent film as an art form and its cultural value as a historical record. Each year they present a festival of silent films accompanied by live music at a silent era movie palace in San Francisco. www.lahacal.org. The Lively Arts History Association (LAHA) is an organization dedicated to promoting history through the Performing Arts. Throughout the year, LAHA offers a variety of dances and events. www.adsla.org The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles, an organization focused on celebrating and preserving the architecture, art, music, dance, clothing, and elegance of Art Deco.
