Join us on Friday, July 7th for First Fridays at the Museum: Paint and Sip evening with Dylan Stewart from Inspire Arts Education.
Explore the museum galleries to get inspired before heading up to our Schreiner Family Plaza for a beverage and to pick your seat. At 7:00 pm, Stewart will begin the guided painting portion of the evening. He will guide step-by-step as you paint a Catalina and tiki-inspired masterpiece.
Stewart is the owner of Inspyr Arts Education, a Long Beach, CA art studio with classes in fine art & illustration for ages 6 - adult. Prior to Inspyr Arts, Dylan designed and illustrated a range of projects for 20th Century Fox Television, Best Buy, The Food Network, Emmy Magazine, Dermalogica, and several other major brands. He has also worked as a costume illustrator, most notably for Emmy winning costume designer, Wendy Benbrook. Currently, Dylan teaches fine arts, illustration, and graphic design at Inspyr Arts while continuing to study oil painting under master portrait artist, Andrea Mosley.
A specialty cocktail, wine, beer, and other beverages will be available for purchase.
