We Want YOU to Join Us for Our 1940s Flashback Fundraising Extravaganza
Saturday, September 17 from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm
THANK YOU to all who attended and supported this year's fundraising extravaganza flashback to the 1940s. Eighty years ago, USO entertainers practiced in front of the trainees on Catalina Island before heading overseas. This even brought a USO-style show to the museum!
Special thanks to our live entertainment by Bob Hope (Bill Johnson) along with the music of the Andrews Sisters by The Pin-Ups, dancing and fun with the Bling Divas, the jitterbug and a dance lesson with Mike and Ellie and other fun surprises. With your help, we were able to raise critical funds for our educational programs, school outreach, and exhibitions through a silent and live auction led by everyone's favorite emcee and auctioneer Matt Rogers.
