These poster depicts details taken from preliminary sketches by John Gabriel Beckman for the interior murals of Catalina Island's famous Casino Theatre. The murals were executed by Beckman and a small team of artists in an astoundingly short four-month time period before the Casino's opening in 1929. Beckman is also known for the murals in Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
